Nopef visited the Faeroe Islands in connection with a seminar held at the House of Industry on 23 June.
At the seminar, Faroese companies that wanted to internationalise their business operations could listen to different financing options, including Nopefs grant funding for feasibility studies.
Per Ovesen, Regional Manager for Denmark and Iceland, highlights that it is important to travel around all the Nordic countries to meet personally with the companies planning for internationalisation.
The Faroese company Tokny (formerly Simprentis), which specialises in consulting services in the offshore industry, also gave a presentation on its feasibility study in Indonesia. The company received funding from Nopef in 2012.
Nopef has granted funding to five Faroese companies over the years.
Our next application deadline is 12 August. Read more about the application process here
