Due to the recent changes in the de minimis Regulation adopted by the European Commission on 1 January 2024, the rules for small amounts of aid have been amended. The ceiling per company is increasing from EUR 200,000 to EUR 300,000 over any three-year period.

Funding from Nopef is paid out in accordance with the EU’s de minimis regulation, which allows for payments of state aid provided that the total amount per recipient does not exceed EUR 300,000 over a period of three fiscal years. With the increased ceiling, more companies may qualify to apply for Nopef funding.
